(1) Raw material testing. Before construction, use a recycling machine to mill representative samples on the original and old road surface, understand the actual structural layer thickness and material type, and provide samples for the laboratory mix design. The selected milling material samples should undergo the following tests: gradation test, plasticity index, compaction test, and moisture content.
